Happy 15th Birthday Matty!! Here is a painting of her. :)

TM, I am really sorry to hear.. No words can take the hurt away - but I am sure that right now, Matty is bragging about the life you gave her here ..

Penny's blanket broke the brusher motor on the vacuum. Here she tries to look innocent. Oh no mummy, I didn't cost you a new hoover at all.

 

Awww. We had a Dalmatian when I was growing up. Sweet dog but the hair she shed all year round was like little needles that got on everything.

I have loads of birds, a few rabbits, and some squirrels, but no domestic pets. After almost 30 years of taking care of cats, I am now cat-less. I would love to get a couple of cats and/or a dog, but I do not know what my future holds, and I can't take on the responsibility at the moment.

Cats - some would say rabbits and dogs etc. - are the best comforters for me. I didn`t have kids because I knew I couldn`t put them out or leave them to themselves if they were being weird, but last year when I was at the lowest ebb I`d ever been, they were wonderful and seemed to know I needed them to be loving and caring towards me. They can do it when they want to! I really hope you get the opportunity to have something just for you in your life again.
