Jag2112
Greetings Rush Fans... Ok, put on your thinking caps as this question is a bit of a tough one. Eric (from Power Windows) and I have been trying to figure out what song was being played on the following image: http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/rush/images/tourbooks/powerwindows-27.jpg This image comes from the Power Windows Tour Book, so it was more than likely played during the p/g tour. Any ideas? This one has us stumped. To see all the images from the PoW tour book, click HERE. Thanks, John
Pags
It looks like the scientist's head from the Manhattan Project video. That's my guess.

I read your post too fast and focused on keywords Power Windows. Still, wow that looks so much to me like Manhattan Project. If these shots are from p/g tour, I'm at a loss then. Jag2112
A little more research has revealed that the song is, in fact, Red Lenses... Can't confirm this, but seems likely. -John

1-0-0-1-0-0-1
Seeing Geddy's hands on the keyboards and that animation on the screen still makes me think it's "Manhattan Project," performed during the warmup tour six months before the actual Power Windows tour started. In Contents Under Pressure they mention introducing "Big Money" and "Middletown Dreams" during those shows, but they worked on the other PW tracks during soundcheck every day. That photo could've been taken during a full "dress" rehearsal -- note that you can't see any audience members in that shot. Just a theory. Seems like a weird animation to show during that song, but since when to the boys do anything "normal?"
Jag2112
That is a possibility as Red Lenses was played durning the PoW "Warm Up" tour (see the setlist of that tour HERE.) So the question then would be - was the PoW Tour Book created after the Warm Up tour, which would allow for this image, or before (which would point back to Red Lenses...) Questions, questions... -John

If it were to be Red Lenses, I'd be curious as to why the animation is so damn close to Manhattan Project. They've never done anything like that before. I know that image is used in the Manhattan Project video, and I don't ever recall them ever using part of a video in another song either. I'll bet 1-0-0-1's right and it's from a full dress rehearsal prior to the warm-up tour. Oh yea, don't forget about Bumble...
