RUSHHEAD666 Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 The last thread I wrote on here about RUSH finally getting the Japanese love with the SHM cardboard mini cd sleeve treatment got buried faster than a corpse in a coffin. As I am surprised that not many of you care about this exciting day. Hey, at least it's fun to write about and annoy you with. Again, June 24th is almost here. The first 12 studio RUSH albums will be done in Japan with SHM encoding and stuffed inside a cool mini LP style sleeve replicating the actual old school lp release. These are not stupid "THINK GREEN" USA cardboard crap. These are the REAL DEAL, OBI STRIP INCLUDED! I guess if you are of the MP3 DOWNLOAD GENERATION then ignore this thread. If you are an audiophile hardcore RUSH fanatic who wants to own something incredible and rare then I simply suggest that you jump on these suckers. They will go fast. A set of 12 on eBay is going for about $335. Pricey but worth it. I'm picking up three sets. One to open and play, two sets to keep mint and sealed. One thing that does piss me off is that there is no PROMO BOX. Also Warner is only doing the 12 studio albums. For some reason the three live records are not being done. ATWAS ESL SOH Makes no sense to me. I guess I will have to hope that Japan does them in the future. Anyway, I'm totally pumped. I hope this thread at least gets the blood flowing fast in one of you.
