I have resisted as long as possible, but I can't hold back any more. biggrin.gif  I'm no fashion plate, but I have a THING for shoes.  It's serious.  I need a twelve step program to get over this...but until then...

Heh.

I worked in a male dominated industry for years and the job was 7 days a week. Also my personal situation didn't allow for any friends. So, you'll have to forgive me if I don't know how to "girl talk" well, but I do have a thing for shoes/boots.

If I could afford it, I would shoe shop every day. yes.gif

Doc Martens is my fav, and even though I love some pointy girl things I don't know how to wear high heels--I fall over. confused13.gif

After my surgery last year, I now finally enjoy shopping for clothes. I need to be stopped.  My favorite store is Kohl's.  When I tell Chas I've been to Kohl's, his first and only question is, 'How much?'

For me its Ugly socks...I mean really unusual. But don't worry...I have at least 75 pairs of shoes.

I generally wear 2 pairs of shoes
These for the day (A must have... uniform reasons) (Only my pair have closed backs... also a uniform thing ...ugh...)

or the end of the school year when teachers just dont care anymore and students can get away with all sorts of non-uniform items. I did last year! Made it though a month!
