Ghost of a Rider Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Hey all, Jack Aubrey came up with the idea of doing a caption contest here a la Caption a Random Image over in Random Samples. The rules will basically be the same as the other except that all images will be stills from movies, TV shows, documentaries or any other cinematic media, including commercials. The first pic will be put up by myself and I will judge the entries after 24 hours, give or take. Below is the list of basic rules: 1) As stated, the round will last 24 hours. 2) No more than 7 entries per person per round. 3) The winner posts the next pic and judges that round. 4) The judge will notify winner via PM that he/she has won. Some things to keep in mind. First, it goes without saying that pics must conform to forum standards of taste. No nudity or overly suggestive images. This is, after all, a family forum and sometimes kids and young people participate. Second, it's important to remember that the caption only needs to make the judge chuckle, not necessarily everyone else. So if you don't win it's because he/she didn't find it to be the funniest. That said, I welcome all comments and suggestions for improvement to make the game as fun as possible.
