Test4VitalSigns
I don't know whether to put this in politics or sports but Lynn Swann, former great receiver for Steelers in the 70's is thinking of running for Governor of Pennsylvania.... http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor..._famer_governor
spirit of radio
A Republican and the greatest Steeler receiver ever.... Sounds like quite a dilemma for Indi.
Let The Fray Begin
Hmm.... Lynn Swann was a great athlete... but politician? We'll see. I might have a more positive view if he was running Democrat
Indica
QUOTE (spirit of radio @ Feb 25 2005, 04:56 AM) A Republican and the greatest Steeler receiver ever.... Sounds like quite a dilemma for Indi. As long as he does a good job then it doesn't matter to me what he runs as. Just like if John Mccain ran for president in 2008, I'd probably vote for him depending on who ran against him. I'm not the one who stereotypes and hates a certain group. Don't get me mixed up with the haters Cygnus and Jack.
kazzman
I heard this a couple of months ago... Well if it's down to Swann and Gov. Rendell, Swann's got my vote. As long as we don't have to pay for Swann's dinner bills or speeding tickets like we do Rendell's...
war2112
All I know is that Lynn Swann is my favorite receiver of all-time. Yes, even more than Jerry Rice. Does his name fit him perfectly or what? As far as running for governer, hey, he has that right. Like anyone else here, I have no idea what kind of governer he would make. I do like the fact that he's interested in serving the people of the state in which he made his mark. That's cool in my book. I like this guy, always have.
