Best venue

Anywhere indoors.

I saw them in Houston for the R30 tour. The concert was outdoors and it was very hot and humid; especially after it rained.

I saw that Geddy's shirt was full of sweat.

I saw that Alex's shirt was full of sweat.

I saw that Neil's shirt......Well, no sweat. (he's not human)

Anyway, I would rather see a concert indoors in a controlled environment.

Rock On......

Only seen Rush in three differnet venues. Once at the Nissan Pavilion (Bristow, VA), and twice at both the Shoreline Amphitheatre (Mt. View, CA) and the Chronicle Pavilion (Concord, CA). Of the three, I definatly enjoy the Concord one a lot, definatly a lot more then the crappy Shoreline. The Nissan Pav. I cant really comment on though, my seats were front row, so my view for them could just be a little scewed tongue.gif

I hear Maple Leaf Gardens had the best sound...But from I've been to, I would have to say the Molson Amphitheatre...However, the Air Canada Centre was great too! In fact, I think I will change it from the Molson Amphitheatre to the ACC...Because indoor shows are MUCH better than outdoor shows...sound wise!

The first time I saw Rush was at NYC's Madison Square Garden oh so many moons ago.

I've since seen them in many other venues, but none seem to stand out as well as MSG.

But then again, any venue as long as its playing Rush is a good venue...

Hmm, so many choices:

1. Red Rocks (didn't get to go this year, but I've been there, and it's awesome!)

2. Molson Amphitheater (hometown crowd on a glorious summer evening!)

3. Mohegan Sun Casino (small/intimate venue, and less than 1 hr from home)

4. (tie) Hartford Civic Center/The Meadows (neither venue is great, but they're very close to home!)

Everyone should expirience a Rush homecoming show at least once in a lifetime either at the ACC or TMA. People are there from all four corners of the world it seems and the venues are electric. So next tour come and hang out in our backyard, you will not be disappointed trink39.gif 1287.gif argh

Sarotaga performing arts center was a great venue last tour, but the crowd sucked!
So, I would say Radio City! For crowd and venue!

Radio City and Madison Square Garden!!!!

I would like to try Radio City next tour...I've heard too many great things about that venue!

But, as with others here previously, I'll settle for somewhere indoors..the outdoors thing was great, but I prefer them indoors, myself..

I've seen them at three venues:

Wembley Arena,

Brimingham NEC,

Sheffield Arena.

In reverse order, I'd have to list them as:

Sheffield Arena - horrible sound and overly oppresive security that killed the atmosphere.

Birmingham NEC - decent sound if you get a decent position and the security are pretty resonable but a little too cavernous for my taste.

Best of all is Wembley Arena - has the same positives and negatives as Burmingham but seems a little less cavernous. Plus, its the first place I saw Rush live so it will always have a special place in my heart.

But, oh, how I wish I could have seen them at the Hammy O - now that was a venue.
