Mystic Slipperman
I am a big softie. Shawshank just kills me. It's a Wonderful Life does it too. One of the LOTR movies...I forget which one...I think it's the Annie Lennox song during the credits that does it though.

Rushian King
QUOTE (edgyspice @ Sep 4 2008, 08:36 PM) I don't cry even over serious real life shit, but I bawled like a little girl over the playground scene in Ikiru. I did get a little dew-eyed at that scene myself.
Rushian King
QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Sep 4 2008, 09:55 PM) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/68/Grave_of_the_Fireflies_DVDcover.jpg Oh man...this one actually penetrated my icy heart of darkness. One of my all-time fave animated films. And yes, I teared up for it. Very good pick.
Rushian King
I never full-out cry over real-life sh!t. Grandparents dying, pet doves escaping or dying, @sshole coworkers and supervisors heaping unfair amounts of work my way, a clip-pedal on my bike ramming into my shin, girlfriend dumping my @ss, etc. Nada. Tears occasionally well up, but never escape. Except when I watch movies. Then the occasional drops will reach cheek. Field Of Dreams and Schindler's List (among others) do it for me. No, emotions are for women and homosexuals. Haha, not really. Anyway, yeah, Grave of the Fireflies. Oh god, so sad. I also think I managed to hold it in throughout Brokeback Mountain, but started crying at the bit at the end with the shirt.
Rushman14
Ghost. I can't do pottery without bawling. and also the gut wrenching Japanese movie called "Antarctica" about a pack of sled dogs stranded in antarctica during the winter. that was a rough one to sit through. rushgoober
I've also been known to get weepy at the end of The Accidental Tourist and Lord of the Rings - Return of the King. Also, there's a scene in The Last Temptation of Christ where Jesus is sitting with some of his new followers on a hillside looking at two fisherman that point at him and recognize something in him that for some reason always gets me. I rarely ever cry for sad moments, almost always for overwhelmingly happy, touching and/or victorious ones...

Weatherman2112
Lots of good ones mentioned here. I would have to add an oldie... Breakfast at Tiffanys. That "Cat" in the rain scene at the end is a choker. I'm just a softy for anything with Audrey Hepburn.

GeddyRulz
I'm not sure how old the thread is or if I've answered before, but here's a few that turned me into a girly-man: Awakenings Ghost Home Alone (yep, the "old man at the end" scene) My Life (designed to make you cry; I didn't want to give the filmakers the satisfaction, but I succumbed) And believe it or not... Benji E.T. And probably a few more. Edited September 11, 2008 by GeddyRulz
