this article says Queen are rumored to headline Glastonbury in 2020

that's certainly possible, but no one in Queen is planning that far ahead.

More interestingly, it claims other rumored headliners would be Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and Oasis.

so that's the point where I stopped taking it seriously, lol.

would have been a great lineup save oasis.

could never stand that band like......at all.

Mick

Love Oasis, but I connect them to some very happy memories, so I'm totally biased. Nevertheless, getting the Ghallager brothers in the same room is a challenge; getting them on stage together would be a miracle.

Yeah, lol. I'm just listening and I'm like, why do people hate this? It's not bad at all really, it's just a different style. Actually, I really prefer Hatfield's vocals here than anywhere else, much more attitude, much realer.

I just noticed something. There are 2 members that are responsible for something like 90% of the threads in this subforum. That's why I find it so boring. And there are too many superfluous polls. Several people at TRF seem to have a high post count as their main goal. Edited by Boots

The Replacements' career arc is very interesting. The band they started out as is the polar opposite of the band they ended up as.

Would you say that over time they, ahem, replaced themselves?

;)

I think a lot of people enjoy the polls. Keeps discussion going, which is good since, ya know, Rush is kinda over...

Brace yourselves for a major disappointment.

Try not to take it too hard.

Justin Bieber cancelled the rest of his tour.

I know nothing about this TMZ website, but it seems to me to be the heavy metal equivalent of the Enquirer.

Two nights I will not be working. He cancelled two nights at Metlife Stadium. BOO HOO

I read yesterday that Mick Jagger just released two social justice songs: Gotta Get A Grip and England Lost.

Still pushing for a relevant solo career at 74?

He said he didn't want to wait until enough material was gathered for an album.

He thought the songs would lose their relevancy if released a year from now rather than being released now.

It was an article in our local newspaper.

Have you heard anything about this, or have you heard the songs?
