I know rushbass  and I want to do Natural Science, so any of you drummers up for it? I know CygnusX-1b2k is but he's pretty busy I hear. smile.gif

I actually already have tracks for that.

Awesome. Didn't want to pester you about it. wink.gif Can't wait to hear it.

Thanks. trink39.gif

I'm all for it! smile.gif trink39.gif Let's do that one! Who will sing it though... unsure.gif

I think I can hit most of the notes. I'll give a try and if it's not up snuff we'll find someone who can.

I can do the keys on this one, as well as the bass, unless someone else is dying to play those one-note-at-a-time lines... wink.gif laugh.gif

can you get the hyper space effect? biggrin.gif

A friend has a 1973 Mini-Moog, as well as original Taurus I Pedals... I'll try to see if he will let me borrow the gear to record... if not, I can "fake it" on my older Korg... wink.gif

Getting ready for NS... Re-stringing the Rickenbacker 4001 as we speak!

Hey guys,

My fellow Digital Man Pete just told me about this project. I'd love to help if I can. Are the keys or bass or vocals spoken for on Witch Hunt? Other than playing on WH, I'd also like to offer my services for mixing any tunes if needed and time permitting.

OK EVERYONE!

I'm going to start a thread on the first song!!!!!!!!

Please refer to The New Thread for further posting on the song.....

If you would like to talk about the whole project in general....please keep it in this thread....

We're going to try to keep each individual song thread only talking about it's song....

I can play bass and keys for almost any Rush song. So what ever we need I will help out. The Camera Eye Jacobs ladder and Natural Science are my favorite. But wouldn't mind doing the fear triology also. What ever you need me to do I'm there. trink39.gif

I can play guitar and/or bass for any song ... any era ... can sing some of the lower register songs including backing vocals ... can do any of the "classical" guitar and/or acoustic parts as well. Also, I could do keys/piano if needed ... however, that isn't my main instrument.

I would love to do TCE ... not sure if that is a possibility but it would be fun.

I prefer to, at least, have a drum track to play to.

Let me know ... or I may volunteer for some of the parts as they become available.

Ok, so here's The track order that i think would be good.

1)2112:Overture/Temples

2)Limelight

3)The Enemy Within

4)The Weapon

5)Witch Hunt

6)The Main Monkey Business

7)Between the Wheels

8)The Larger Bowl

9)Mission

10)Leave That Thing Alone

11)Natural Science

12)Working Man

Using Stuido Versions(2112 i used RiR version):

62 minutes....about the length of S&A!!!

Sound Good Enough?

You have to do 2112: Overture/Temples/Grande Finale (aka R30) That extra two minutes takes everything over the top. Also, there is enough room for The Camera Eye, and what would a TRF album be without that song?

Well, I got rid of my sonar rig and my current band doesn't have pro-tools, so I'm thinking about contacting The Analog Kids (rush tribute band in my area) to see if I could collaborate with those guys. Maybe we could let their drummer play one and I could play one, and we would have finished tracks to submit?

Does anyone know if the analog kids are involved with this?

I'll contact them on myspace. I don't know their TRF handles off hand.

Sound cool to you guys? So, we'll have a couple tracks from Michigan...

Hey guys,

I said this to AK1123 so I thought I should also say it to all of you.

That forum at TRFM never gets much use so this morning I had to do a bunch of work to it. If you find any bugs or problems please post those issues in the "Website Problems" forum at TRFM, it's the bottom forum on the page.

As far as I can tell everything is working as it should. That forum structure is different than here on TRF, so you'll have to get used to it.

File uploads and downloads are available with many different file types allowed. File Size Limit is 70MB for files (audio/video/ect...), and 2MB for image files. I can change these settings if they need to be larger.

Thanks,

Mike

Not quite sure where to ask, but is there any way I can contribute some bass?

I think you probably can. smile.gif Go to trfmusicians.com and find the thread there in the forums.

My question is: How many albums are we going to make?

You do realize that Rush fans tend to be musicians and there are a LOT of us. tongue.gif

Twenty two albums.

No more, no less.
