Did Anyone Notice...

Did any keenly observant Rush fan other than myself notice that on the inside of the Different Stages CD package, Geddy is seen scalping Rush tickets in front of the Hammersmith Odeon? Alex is seen in the same picture being carried away in a white straitjacket by mental health workers. It looks like an old picture that was Photoshop-ed. Very funny. laugh.gif

who is that "guy" up in the window to the right???

The guy in the window actually looks like Mr. Peart. I can't be sure, but this is my best guess. It looks like he is waving or something. laugh.gif

""I had to shoot most of the Disc 3 cover...we had the original shot of the Hammersmith Odeon, but everything else had to be photographed. The road, Geddy, Alex, the ambulance...it was a big job, but I think it worked out great. Hugh is an amazing designer! Jolly Teabag was Geddy's idea." - Andrew MacNaugtan, TriNet Chat, Dec. 15th, 2002

"I love the packaging he did on Different Stages, that's one of my favorites. I'm touting tickets outside; Alex in a straight jacket..." - Geddy Lee, Classic Rock, Oct. 2004"

It's also interesting to note that those two Hammersmith photos came from two different tours. The Feb. 20/78 show is of course from the AFTK tour, but the other photo actually comes from the Permanent Waves tour, where they played 5 nights from June 4-8, 1980.

Although this b/w photo does look realistic, this post describes how certain things were added. There is one clue however, that proves this photo had to be doctored.

Does anyone know what evidence there is in the b/w photo that proves this is the case?

Clue: Its something in the photo that cannot possibly be true, considering all the detail in it.

I don't know if it's been said, but on the cover of Different Stages, the one guys head has the three tinker toys shaved into it. Anyone notice this? confused13.gif
