From the Atari 2600 days I definitely recall Pitfall Harry, Q-Bert, and of course PacMan. Nintendo brought us Mario, the Metroid chick, Link from Zelda, and the "Fat Dude" Blades of Steel that knocked the crap out of everyone but was slower than the Earth. Sega Genisis, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64 were all forgettable execpt the 'mythical' Mike Tyson from Punchout. But, hands down my favorite is Kratos.
