I am not sure this is a poem, but I wrote this when I got banned from a website and had to loose a great friend I made on there:

I will find you again

I will see you again

I will be you friend again

and hope that this forbidden friendship will end

The Spirit Of The Radio.
It crackes with life.
Making bright antennae bristle with energy.
Timeless wavelengths.
Bearing gifts,beyond a price,almost free.
Making modern music, not so coldly charted, can still be broken hearted.
Writing profits on the walls.
Turning invisible to question your honesty.
Starting the day with a friendly voice on obtrusive, making your morning elusive.
On the way, makes magic at your fingers.
For the spirit ever lingers.

Late November. A good time for some Japanese poetry:

The flowers withered
their colour faded away
while meaninglessly
I spent my days in the world
and the long rains were falling.

Can this world
from of old
always have been so sad,
or did it become so for the sake
of me alone?

the weeds grow so thick
you cannot even see the path
that leads to my house:
it happened while I waited
for someone who would not come.

Here is some stuff I wrote, in total this took about 7 minutes to write them all.

Time:

Time will only tell, the thought, oh only I dwell, on the pain of past mistakes.
I take this winding road, I don't know where to go. Where It will lead me to I don't know.
As long as I forget the pain, Time will never know. What a no show, the pain, only I Hope leaves, Time ago.

Outcast:

A no name outcast with nothing to show.
My pride, swept from me ages ago.
What I am, I can not show.
I might be left out, or forgotten more.

Smells Like Somebody You Know:

The blood, the pain, the heart, all we lost we never named.
We forgot who to blame, all rest brought to shame.
We hate they who is not named, and we never forgot what you did that daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
But who cares anymore, forever forgotten in lorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Lost, never to ignore.
It Smells Like Somebody You Know. It Smells Like Somebody You Know.
We can not ignore, all the gore. The pain is not ignored. What you did, shall be remorse.
All that is left behind, your to blame all the time, but who cares? You've past your time. Don't worry you'll be fine, when you pay for all you've done.
It Smells Like Somebody You used to know, forget it now, he's left behind.

Sadness:

Sadness, all I feel, never left but always forgotten.
The thought, the pain, the path I forced to take.
I wish I was okay, everyone else thinks not the same.
But who cares, I'm anti social anyway.

Untitled:

Blurry lines, blurry faces, the line we pasted, turned our faces. The lies are gone, we now know the truth they tried to hide.
The static, blows our mind, the thoughts gone from time. The truth now in our mind. The poles divide the lies, but separate the truth into what it's meant to be.

A bit of Haiku for the morning after an all-nighter:

Picture pure terror
Demons reign and war in homes—

Get it off my phone!

Edgar Allan Poe

Disturbing, twisted poe—

Prophecies of woe

For paranoia:

Van Der Graaf Generator

Or your nightly news.

Imagine there’s no

Hope, it's easy if you try:

Say “I’m a dreamer."

You'll notice one of them is even a found poem! That doesn't make it any lighter though...

As with most of what I write, these are meant to be song lyrics. But unlike most things I write, I'm actually pretty proud of these.

“Beyond the Void”

I’m waiting for a single word
But O Captain, My Captain is still

He looks on in grave disbelief

Not a heart dares beat in this chill

For across the bow, what once we called home

Hath come to apocalypse while we’ve roamed...

Quickly approaches a ship off starboard

Cloaked in markings I’ve never seen before

Villain or survivor we hesitate unsure

But wait what lies in the darkness behind her?

Not in the darkness, the black cloud itself sir!

At last we are graced with the Captains last word...

Run, he whispers, run.

Run. Run, run, run! RUUUUN!

Now the pilot is throwing the wheel

As the crew counts the days till their final meal

And my horror, o horror shan’t ever heal

Each passing day lasts less than a moment

Running away from that awful bestowment

Pitch black cloud brought to a world we lament

One by one planets fall to her wrath

When all of Andromeda burns in her bath

Our aging crew must plot an uncharted path

To a galaxy still beyond her sight

A young world not yet home to life

Asleep, pray someday we’ll arrive

How do you know your hope will survive when all that you know disappears?

How do you think you’ll be able to sleep for the next few hundred years?

And when you awake will you finally break down in tears?

Will your legacy recount your life or  proclaim your fears?

Praying, we run in silence
Sleeping, we run in silence
Aging, we run in silence
We run beyond the void

p.s. I've been on a Maiden kick lately. I'm not saying I had Hallowed Be Thy Name in mind when I wrote this, but I'm also not denying it.

Vici

If tomorrow all my friends gave up and walked away
And if tomorrow all my blood deserted me for good
I would live to tell the tale
I would choose to persevere
Who could say what would stand in my way?
But I would face it all alone.

Home is a state of soul, sure as beauty is a state of mind
No matter where your body lies, home is here for you to find
La maison est un état d'âme, come la beauté est un état d’esprit
Partout où est ton corps, ici est la maison pour vous de trouver

So if tomorrow all you know should crumble into the sea
And if tomorrow all you do is crushed by your own hand
Don’t just live to see the dawn
Don’t just choose to get by
None will say what will stand in your way
But you will face it all alone

Conquer.

Just Pride

A sense of doubt
As you pull the trigger
A shallow voice
In the back of your mind
The warm caress
Of steel-like dissuasion
Forbidden thoughts
In a healthier time

Here you stand
On the cusp of legends
And will you stand
In time, across that line
Surrounding you
Are they words of wisdom?
Hounding you?
No! Use your own mind!

Sign your life in
passionfire
Bursting through the changes
Sign your time with
pure desire
Holy starlight in your eyes

A striking quality
Supernatural and untamed
Carries a thought
Imaginable if you dare
Shared paradigm
To decode, to develop
Moral stereo
In mobile quadrophenia

Sign your life in
Passionfire
Outgrowing expectations
Sign your time with
Pure desire
Holy starlight by design

Proud just to be
Proud just to be
Proud just to
Be proud just
To be proud
Just to be
Just be proud

Sign your life in
Passionfire
Be proud just to be
Sign your time with
Pure desire
Just to be proud
Sign your home in
Everyplace
Be proud just to be
Sign your heart with
Every pace
Just to be proud

Better-a-Dress

Mamma, I don’t want to put this on
Child, you’ll wear it or you’ll come to harm

It chokes my neck and blisters at my heels

It makes you look nice, regardless how it feels

It's one natural fact,

A social pact,

You better learn

And that’s that!

Fashion rules with a velvet fist

From arts and crafts to politics

School uniforms and your Sunday best

Success impresses with a dress

Teacher needs to see me after school

Says I haven’t learned the golden rule

Love each other as you love yourself

He loves me so he’s giving me the belt

It’s unnatural, that.

Asocial brat!

You better dress

or that’s that!

Fashion rules with a leather strap

From GI Joe to plastic Bratz

Business suits and appropriate breast

Success impresses in a dress

The boss is banning canes, gloves, and my hat

The web says these socks make me look fat

The bar refused my friend for wearing sweatpants

My partner traded vacation for implants

It’s unnatural fact

Asocial backed

You better judge

Yourself on that!

Fashion rules, on platform heels

From Peter Criss to the Court of Appeals

Disney World and Grandmaster chess

Success impresses better dressed

"Insight"

Guess your dreams always end.
They don't rise up just descend,
But I don't care anymore,
I've lost the will to want more,
I'm not afraid not at all,
I watch them all as they fall,
But I remember when we were young.

Those with habits of waste,
Their sense of style and good taste,
Of making sure you were right,
Hey don't you know you were right?
I'm not afraid anymore,
I keep my eyes on the door,
But I remember...

Tears of sadness for you,
More upheaval for you,
Reflects a moment in time,
A special moment in time,
Yeah we wasted our time,
We didn't really have time,
But we remember when we were young.

And all God's angels beware,
And all you judges beware,
Sons of chance, take good care,
For all the people not there,
I'm not afraid anymore,
I'm not afraid anymore,
I'm not afraid anymore,
Oh, I'm not afraid anymore.
