Well, Mohegan Sun is a casino, and the venue is inside the casino - it's really a beautiful place. The arena is on the smaller side - it holds a max of like 10K people - but that's kewl, cause it makes the show a little more intimate. We should try to coordinate a meet-up either before or after the show. Plenty of bars in the general area, and good food at the casino. the venue is pretty good. Whever you sit, you will be pretty close. I sat in the 2nd level last year and it was the closests ive ever been. The two other times were outdoor venues so i was basically on the lawn. Mansfield sounded pretty good last year. It was so cool actually being able to see them playing the notes though...since i had been so far away before. The other couple of shows I can maybe miss being up close but I have to see at least one. I can pay you back asap and could spend up to say $300.00 if I have to. If you manage to get a good pair that might even be easier but a great single for me would be really good if yo can swing it. I am not going to Manchester now as I am going to PAGSCON and that kicks off on the Friday evening , the same time as the Manchester show. I am not sure where I will be staying on the night of the show at MS but I note there is a reasonable hotel quite close. If you like hiking there is a nice place i could steer you. Im not sure what kind of time you are going to have. although it will be warm by then, so maybe you like the beach? Here's an update; I am considering going to Saratoga because all going to plan, I arrive in NYC on Thurs July 3. The venue I imagine would be quite close and I note that you might be going? robertjames1971 Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 I needed three tickets. The pre-sale couldn't accommodate me on the floor or the lower bowl. I got upper level though, section 106. I'll take it. Mohegan is tiny. I can't imagine any seat in that room being a bad one. I just hope they live up the expectations they set for me at least year's Mohegan show. Easily the best of the four I saw on that tour, and possibly the best of all of the Rush shows I've seen. As of right now the one in sec 3 row M belongs to my friend but he may be looking for a better seat. I will let you know asap if he does not want this ticket. this is 13th row alexs side.
