Anagrams (for Rush)

Got this idea from another music site where the fans re-arranged the letters in the band members names. Thought it might be fun to see what secrets are revealed within...

Geddy Lee

dye ledge

edgy leed

eddy glee

Alex Lifeson

Al nose flix

exile of lans

i fone all sex

Neil Peart

train peel

line taper

plain tire

penal rite

lean tripe

nite pearl

I see now why Neil did all the lyric writing for the band, since he's the most versatile with words. Can also see where Alex gets his sense of humor. tongue.gif

Nice idea... I put a few random Rush songs that popped into my head into a solver. Here are a result for each of them.

Between Sun & Moon - A Bounden Semen Town

A Farewell To Kings - A Welfares Got Link

The Twilight Zone - Wheezing Hot Tilt

Available Light - Gala Villa Be Hit

La Villa Strangiato - A Vagina Trails Toll

Fly By Night - Fly By Thing

By-Tor & The Snow Dog - A Boned Stodgy Thrown

Manhattan Project - Apartment Cat John

Subdivisions - Dibs Vision Us

New World Man - Lawmen Drown

Pretty fun. If anyone wants to play around with it;

A couple more for Alex Lifeson:

False Ex Lion

Alien Elf Sox

And if Neil Peart wanted to return to the stars, he could write about Planet Ire! (Or Planet Rei, Eri, etc..) biggrin.gif

Cechan a of Stgho (although it means nothing)

Well, it *looks* Gaelic... tongue.gif

HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP.

I was checking out one of these anagram websites after reading this old thread, and, well, I read this story on some other site where the roadies kept pranking Neil by leaving FISH everywhere, and then Geddy ended up singing "catch the fish" instead of "catch the spit" in Tom Sawyer, but that's not the point. The POINT is, I put some stuff from that story into the anagram thing, and, well,

FISH ON THE SNARE DRUM - RUSH FRONTMAN, HE DIES.

HOLY CRAP.
