Ancient Queen Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Been a year or so since posting to TRF. Flew 3000 miles to see TO2 last weekend. Possibly the stupidest thing I've done (I was in TO less than 48 hours). But I refuse to let opportunities go by, as least as they pertain to Rush. Our boyz aren't getting any younger, so... I wanted to go to MSG so bad... my pal and I had great plans for hanging in front row and throwing the band off. Unfortunately, I could only manage the 2nd TO show. But those flights back almost killed me. 5 hours to YVR and then another 5 1/2 back home. I ended up standing the whole flight from Vancouver cuz my back was killing me. One of the flight attendants says, half-jokingly, (when I told him I'd gone to see Rush): "Rush? Geddy Lee's still alive?" Alive and kickin' I tells ya!!
