The worst song for me was Far Cry. That song just didn't sound very good period. unsure.gif

hello rickyrob,

I'm suprised that you think those songs are the worst you've heard.  wink.gif

butt in the beginning I had also problems with the test for echo album,
I just could find the feeling for it...
but after a while I tried again and then I got the feeling...just like that.
maybe you still have found it it yet.  cool.gif

but no hard feeling, every person can't be the same... grtz  2.gif

I haven't heard anywhere near enough of Rush's songs yet to judge the absolute worst, but so far the one I dislike the most would have to be Virtuality.  Net boy, net girl, it's just too inane.

Does anybody remember how bad and cliche' some of the songs on the 1st album were? "Need Some Love" gets my vote for worst Rush song ever...

Tai-Shan and Everyday Glory also rank up there for me from later albums...

Same.

Musically, it sounds like an uninspired afterthought. Kinda like something Bryan Adams would come up with (no sarcasm there).

The lyrics are clever, but only when reading them. That cleverness is lost when hearing to them sung, except for a few lines ("There's tic toc in atomic"). This is a word exercise that should never have been made into a song. It should have stayed on Neil's coffee table...or, if he wrote it in the bathroom, next to the 101 Word Puzzles! magazine and the toilet brush.

Absolutely terrible song.

I'm not a fan of Red Lenses either. But I'm not sure if it qualifies as the worst song they ever released.

I have to say there's not a single  2.gif  song that, when I hear it, I say to myself, "Oh God, I HATE this song.  Gotta skip it."  Nothing that makes my ears bleed. . .

I've never heard a Rush song I dislike. As I've said before asked to rank every song Rush has never put out in order I suspect Out Of The Cradle might find itself the very bottom of the list but seriously its a good song and I have nothing against it.

Ya know, I like almost everything but..anything from Vapor Trails I just hit next track , but One Little Victory is ok sort of. I think they lost their focus somewhere after Neil's troubles.

I'm really not digging the negative, derogatory nature of this thread, all Rush songs are good, are me and TheRocinanteKid the only ones who think this??
