Now that i am in the process of printing artwork for my live show collection, i was wondering what type of printers and paper everyone uses.

I have a lexmark inkjet printer and a new hp photosmart 7700.

They both work well but consume a lot of ink.

any suggestions???

We've actually got an Epson C44UX. I don't know what the ink consumption is like in comparison to others, but, here in the UK, replacement cartridges for it are a lot cheaper than for others. Before that, we had an Olivetti and it cost us less to but this printer than to buy a colour cartridge.

I have full artwork on all my boots and they are beutiful. I have perfected the process:

Use a heavy semi-gloss Paper from HP

Print in highest quality and change in the dropdown box from "plain paper" to "photograph paper"

Alway stry to use a pdf document if possible

go to Digital Rush Experience to get all the artwork

I use a Deskjet 710C
