I like Hope. No one voted for it, so I will.

But my two favorites that aren't instrumentals are Armor and Sword and the Way the Wind Blows.

WTA.  Don't know why, since it has a pop feel to it, but  Ilike it a lot.

It's their best album in years.  (Though I still love VT, even if it was engineered by some cross-eyed midwife's mistake.)

Not an easy question... It's such a good album! I'd have to say my favorites are: Far Cry, Armor & Sword, Main Monkey Business, Way The Wind Blows and MalNar!

I'm going to go with Armor & Sword because it was the first song on the record that REALLY struck me as great.  It reminded me of the epic, progressive Rush of yesteryear.  (But it could've been Spindrift or Bravest Face if they'd been track #2.  They're great songs too.)

Looks like the jury is still out on this one.
I'm going with Bravest Face. This one really sticks with me.
Far Cry is not getting old and may have better staying power for the long haul.

(that's all folks)

Very difficult to choose one, as this album really has several excellent songs. It's remarkable the degree to which I've latched on to this album. It's very good.

In the end, I voted for "Main Monkey Business," seeing as how it's a exquistiely dense piece of music. Expert playing.

Still, I love "Workin' Them Angels."

Get carried away on the songs and stories of vanished times

and

Filling my spirit with the wildest wish to fly

Some of my favorite recent Rush lyrics.

Spindrift. Makes we want to stand up and start air-guitaring every time I hear it. Kind of embarrassing in the middle of a crowded train.

Way the Wind Blows

Lots of great songs on Snakes, hard to choose just one, but right now, this is the song.  Lots going on, great guitar parts, killer drum parts.

I went with Malignant Narcissism, even though it's about seven minutes too short  tongue.gif

Hope is also a favorite.  It was nice to hear Alex get something all to himself.
