This is cool! Though it is interesting that with "YYZ," "Leave That Thing Alone" and "La Villa" on that DVD, they nominate the drum solo.

Makes sense to me!

Excellent point. I agree. Nonetheless it's awesome to see Neil get a Grammy nomination. Very cool.

Way cool!!!

Would Neil actually be there to accept the award??? I don't think it's in his personality to show up at something like that. Sayin'?

My comment doesn't have anything to do with them being angry. Neil just actively avoids the limelight. None of are them "press hounds", but Neil is even more private than Alex & Geddy.

Yes, that's true. I don't think it's an anger thing at all.

I think it's quite the opposite from an anger thing. I think he's very happy with his distain for others, and anything that has to do with attention.

Sadly, I have to agree. He seems to like being cool and aloof...again, he just hasn't met the right woman yet. wink.gif

with all the categories at the Grammys, is this even one that gets presented on TV? It wouldn't surprise me if it is not. So even if Rush were to win, doubt they would be there. Nice that they were nominated though.

disdain: a feeling of contempt for what is beneath one : SCORN

contempt: the act of despising : the state of mind of one who despises

You really believe this??

There is no underlying REASON for this behavior?

Other than the rest of the world sucks?
