Where is a good place to stay? Downtown? Is Downtown near the venue? I'll be there for a couple of days so I want to be near somewhere cool. Also, where are some good places to party at? What local foods should I definitely try while I'm there? I've only been to Cleveland before, but I heard CINCIN was great. I just drove from Cincy to Atlanta for the opener and it's not a bad drive at all. The Cincy/Columbus shows are going to have a HUGE turnout of forum members from all the boards. Downtown is not too far from the venue, less than 10 miles. I would however book a room soon because many rooms are already booked due to our Riverfest/Fireworks celebration on Sunday which draws a ton of people to the city. I know a bunch of people have booked rooms at the Garfield Suites Hotel downtown. http://www.garfieldsuiteshotel.com/ We are also thinking about doing a pre-show gathering at the Hofbrauhaus across the river in Newport, KY. It is only about 7 miles from the venue and has plenty of room inside and outside with lots of picnic tables outside. They have some good German beers and decent food. This has been a last minute decision and I also noticed the lack of availability of tickets on TM. Only lawn is available. I may go that route, but I doubt it. A broker might be the best angle.
