I'm so pissed that I had to miss the after party but I had too many things going on the next day. I had to drive my family to Disneyland and if you've ever had to drive from Vegas to LA on a Sunday, you know what that is like. Rush sounded great IMO that night. Ged was a little off during the second verse of Witchhunt (or maybe those other two guys were off). The keys seemed behind the beat or something. Otherwise, they played very well and seemed in high spirits. My friends who came with me (not really Rush fans but wanted to add the band to the list of concerts they had seen) were surprised that Neil never smiled until YYZ at the end of the concert when Ged or Al walked toward the drum riser facing Neil. Anyway, I have the set lists in my phone along with what guitar Al played for each song. I'll post it later. Was that the Howard Roberts I saw during TWTWB? I assume partial guilt, along with our older brother, for him being a big Rush junkie. Our older borrowed 2112 from a friend years ago, and we were all hooked from there. I do assume guilt for turning him onto this forum though. We were at The MGM show for R30, best Rush show we've ever seen. This year will be the first tour I've missed since PeW. Oh well, they're not coming anwhere near where I am right now, and I don't have the funds right now anyway. I've spoiled myself over the years by taking advantage of some of the tours I've been to over the years. We were able to go to R-30 together, and I'll never forget that. After staying in Vegas until Wednesday after the show, seeing Spamalot at Wynn Las Vegas (Thank you for the free money Mr. Wynn!) I'm just now catching up with life. It was a pleasure to meet all you fine TRF-ers, and hope to see more of you folks again. Speaking of such, my wife was talking to a girl from Plano, TX named Monica who works for a specialist in Dallas. We have lost the number for the office. If anybody here is or knows her, please PM me. I'll post some pictures of the trip to Vegas and THE TWIN ARROWS! They are really beat up and sad to see, but... I think the videos were geared more toward psychedelia. Wonderful for a tripper. Remember, always, always do the right thing. Or you'll go to Hell, and thats down there. The snakes on the screen before when Zepp was playing at break got clearer as the band approached. Those snakes, staring at them made my mind melt.
