For me it always depends what type of mood i'm in, Regarding what Rush i'll play. It's great to have so many tunes to choose from, But which opening track do you like the most ?

At first i was going to go for 'A Farewell to Kings', then 'Force Ten,' lol, Then 'Far Cry' as it's sounds brilliant too, But finally 'Dreamline' as it's one i'll always crank up the volume too.

What's your favourite opener ?

One Little Victoryyyy~

When looking at albums as a whole, this one just thrills me whenever I put it on. It carries so much emotion. This -- this was Rush's comeback from a hiatus that had threatened to end it all for good.

But the others I loved were definitely 2112 Overture, Far Cry, and Force Ten. Distant Early Warning was a neat song, too.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of "Tom Sawyer". It's a good song but it gets overplayed on the radio.

Rather than the whole song, I went with the one that had the best first 5-10 seconds. The opening of 2112 lets you know of the greatness ahead.

Still, how do you vote against Hemispheres, TSOR, or Subdivisions? Not to mention the raw sound of Anthem and Bastille Day? Dreamline and DEW are also wonderfully awesome songs too.

Is it any wonder we love this band so much? 2.gif

TSOR, Subdivisions, and Force 10 are all great.

Tom Sawyer is the bam opening that every album should have. That first chord/special effect never ever gets old.
