We probably already have all our minds made up about which songs sound good after their time and which ones don't. For instance, I think Working Man sounded terrible on the Rush in Rio DVD (because Geddy Lee just can't wail like he used to) but Natural Science sounded better than the original in some respects. If Rush had a time machine back in '74, '78 or '81, etc. and could hear their later material and decided to play it, what would work and what wouldn't? What songs would sound better, worse, or as good as their real-time counterparts and why? Personally, I think it'd be interesting to hear Vapor Trails material done by '74 Rush.
