It's my most favorite Christmas song. I loved it as a kid, I love it now. It has the best. Line. Ever. In a Christmas song: Hey mama! Bake that pumpkin pie! Mara
I'm kind of weird in that I sing Christmas songs to the dogs, Lance and Simon, only I change the lyrics to make the songs about them. For example, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" (Simon is a shepherd - this is important to know). Said the shepherd dog to his brother Lance "Do you see what I see?" A squirrel, a squirrel, sitting on our lawn. . . Okay, so I'm a lot weird.

He's a rescue dog - he came to us already tagged with that at 1 year old. Nothing to do with Simon Cowell as far as I know. Lance is named for Lance Armstrong, my husband's idol. Nothing, but nothing, beats the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.

iluvgeddy05
Janie, I kick it old skool as well. I LOVE the classics! Bing Crosby anything Christmas makes me happy. I also dig Harry Conick Jr. Glenn Miller Orchestra Lest we forget our own Alex Lifeson's rendition of Little Drummer Boy However, the most embarassing and best album I have is Kenny and Dolly Christmas to Remember! This is solely because I was obsessed with it as a child. The television special with all the video montages, the CD, everything. It's so unlike a Rush fan but I still listen to it today. But hey, Dolly Parton has some pipes for sure
