Anyone here had "Mo's Bacon Bar" yet?

Yes, indeedy, two of my favorite things, applewood smoked bacon and milk chocolate in one. I know. . .it sounds more than a little funky, but it really is a good combination, especially if you like the salty/sweet contrasts. Not cheap but a couple of squares at a time is satisfying.

My sister brought me a couple from Chicago; so far I've not found a source in Atl. Must google . . .

I'm not going to lie to you... that does sound a little funky! But I love bacon and I love chocolate so I'd be up for trying this combination. There's nothing better than the salty/sweet combo every once in a while.

I feel like I've been so conventional in my chocolate eating ways: chocolate and pb, chocolate and pretzels...

That bar comes from this maker:

http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/

If that bar isn't enough, they also have a flying chocolate pig with the same ingredients. I have yet to try that particular one. Now I might have to.

Vosges has some excellent chocolate bars. My personal favorite is the Red Fire, which has ancho chiles, chipotle chiles, and cinnamon. More chocolate bar combinations found here:

These bars are not cheap, but it does take awhile to finish one. One or two squares at a sitting is plenty.

Thanks for the link! I'd been meaning for weeks to look it up myself but kept forgetting until the computer was somewhere far away.

The mini sets would make an interesting gift for the right person.

I just tried the Mo's Bacon chocolate bar. We were out and about, and there was this very bar on display. Didn't take much for me to want to try it. It is very good, as I had two squares of it, though I wish it was a dark chocolate bar instead of milk chocolate. I still prefer the Red Fire bar, though.
