physics23
I happened upon this thing online just now, reading reviews of various effects at Harmony Central: http://www.harmony-central.com/ProductPix/290.jpg
Margana
Someone on this board recommended a station called Planetrock.com which he said played RUSH every day. I have become a regular listener around 8.00 - 10.00 p.m. and have heard many RUSH tracks including those seldom played on rock stations. However, the connection with this thread is that the phone in number is 078 0000 2112. I don't think that it is a coincidence

xredsectorx
a while ago our jeep hit 2112 km. my mom tried to get a picture but the glare covered up the 21 or the 12 everytime she tried lol i think there is one pic of 211 or 112 but not the whole thing. i told her that when it gets to 2112 get a pic if possible, so when it came, she pulled right over on the side of the road and began taking pics lol what an awsome mom!! jrdrummer
I was once playing Pacific Poker online when my money hit $2112. Also, I was playing my favorite game, Day of Defeat Source, and I had 21 kills and 12 deaths. It shows the score for all players in a vertical chart so it literally looked like 21 12. Also, this has nothing to do with 2112, but is still awesome: Our teacher wanted to take us to a dinner theater for a fun day. She assigned us to tables, and I was assigned to table R30!!!!!!! macsrx7
I posted this just the other day: QUOTE So I was doing some throughput testing today at work and this was one of the results... http://thumb17.webshots.com/t/57/557/6/76/39/2192676390088237537PukpbK_th.jpg It's a sign... Same Old Me
Well, I have two. First: When I put out the recyling bins for my house (two have a large "2" painted on them and two have a large "1"...we see where this is going!) I always face them towards the street for those lucky fans driving by who...know. And Second: At work (group home for adolescents with issues) , we have these fire extinguishers...the street address is 2112 (whatever) Street! I love it. I'd take a picture but I'd probably be questioned why I have a camera among a bunch of teens who are supposed to remain confidential. --SOM
what went wrong?
I can't help but wonder who's the 2,112th member of this forum. I unfortunately came too late, for I am #3,217...
Earthshine
I think the total time for the credits and everything on the concert of R30 is 2 hours 112 minutes and a few seconds!

RNR
I'd just like to take my guitar and start playing 2112 outside a house with that number. I bet they would yell at me to shut up
what went wrong?
I would love to live at 2112 Rush St. (or Lane or Road or whatever)! I don't care where the hell it is; it could be in Antarctica (I hear the penguins really get into Rush), and I'd still move down there. It would be just too cool for words... Kid_Gloves
I'm a cashier, and one day someone's total was $21.12 The only thing I care about when buying a house is that the address is 2112. It could be a total dump and I wouldn't care.
jrdrummer
QUOTE (launchpad67a @ Nov 19 2004, 11:50 AM) Not a 2112 topic but, There is a road sign in my area that reads..."Six Mile Village-14 miles" There's also a business sign that reads..."Thunderbird Inn-Home of the 'Ho-Made' Pies" I went in there one day and asked where the 'ho's' that make the pies were? The waitress answered, "That's my mother your talking about" ! oops....... that would have been great!
priest_of_syrinx
NOT 2112 sightings, but Rush sightings: During our family's trip to the casino (nice family fun ) I saw: On the Weather Channel, it said "Ceiling Unlimited" There was a city nearby that showed on the "current conditions" table called Rush City There was a machine called You Bet Your Life... But I'm 4 years too young to gamble. I just thought it was funny to see that on a machine. This one's not related to Rush, but there was a city on the way called Nimrod!! Not only is it an insult, it's a Green Day album.
what went wrong?
Or maybe I could get a phone number that ended in 2112; that would be superb. But very rare. Lately, i've been obsessing over the ISBN numbers on books... I'll find 2112 eventually!!!!
what went wrong?
The ultimate Rush sighting, at least for GPHS Rush fans (there's about 6 of us): Recent United States History class. I would sign up for it just to have the word Rush on my senior report card (it's too late to sign up now).

Maddy
Had to get gas on the way to work this AM - guess how much it came out to? Yeppers - $21.12. Yeah, it made me laugh, even if the bloody tank was only half-empty....
PW_Guitarist
In 1995, I was on a business trip in the Raleigh-Durham area and on my tour of local music shops, I came across a drum shop called 2112 Percussion. I couldn't resist checking it out, and the guy there said that the store was in fact named after the Rush album. I will never forget it - I had been looking for an impossible-to-find damping assembly for my Tama Superstar snare, and they happened to have one in their spare parts, which they sold to me for $3. Great store! They are still in business: http://www.2112online.com/

JohnnyBlaze
Was given this pen of a Japanese anime character. He's a robotic cat that was born in the year 2112. One cool cat (The person that gave me the pen has no idea of Rush. Total coincidence) http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c107/andrewq2112/Miscellaneous/06_08_25_23_58.jpghttp://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c107/andrewq2112/Miscellaneous/06_08_25_23_58_00.jpg
nic2112nic
I was in maths class today and the teacher started writing on the board a number in which we had to find certain percentages. She wrote a 2 then a 1 then another 1 and was saying "two thousand one hundred..." then I kinda shouted/suggested 12!! but then she gave me a wierd look and then wrote 13... Rats. So it was nearly a 2112 sighting
