QUOTE (Proggy @ Nov 9 2004, 03:36 PM)
Wow, didn't realise LTTA is so popular on this forum! Suits me fine as I really like it, as well. Still, it doesn't beat La Villa in my books, a composition that is mesmerizing and rocking at the same time...just phenomenal.

If it wasn't so late (Finnish time), I would put it on right now...!

Its absolutely incredible yes.gif.  Behind Signals, Counterparts is my favorite Rush album thanks in no small part to LTTA.

BTW, good choice D-13 for the 1992 Grammy nominee for best rock instrumental biggrin.gif

Ooh I'm glad to see YYZ coming out on top!

I love La Villa, but the studio version.  Is it sacrilidge to say that Alex's rants can annoy me?

I'll go with LTTA on this one. It just seems to be the one that I go back to the most.
Maybe because it's the "freshest" other than Limbo. However, I think they are all on par except maybe for Limbo which IMHO does not measure up to the others.

If i was asked to name one piece of music that represented what this band are and what they do, it would be la villa.

Even without geddys unique voice, the playing expresses everything this band is theres nothing like it anywhere its rush in a nutshell

La villa strangiato IS rush to me its utterly brilliant up there in the rock sense with mozart and beethoven etc

but.. how can I leave out YYZ.. that one just rocks the pants off me!! damn I hate these polls.. lol

Maybe Broon's Bane is not on any of their studio albums, and he therefore left it out?

Ok, if this was posted in 2004, then why does it have so few votes and reply's, and why is it all of the sudden showing up now?
