When ever I take flower pictures..they don't turn out like this unsure.gif

What am I doing wrong? confused13.gif Mine turn out blurry sad.gif

Do you have a Macro Setting on your camera? Using Macro is the best way to take close ups of flowers -

I do yes.gif

If I focus in too much..is this why it is blurry? or is it the lighting? confused13.gif

How many Megapixels does your camera have?

Do you have it on autofocus?

On my digital camera, there is a flower setting. Same as macro I gather. confused13.gif

I have to be at least 7-8 inches away on that setting to get a good shot.

You should talk to barney, he knows shit. 1022.gif

The first one is very nice, whole picture is in focus - The second one looks as if your camera's AF points focused on the leaves instead of the flower -

Not sure what time of day you shot these pictures but always try to take the shot later in the evening or early in the morning before there is too much light - that should give your shot deeper colors -

I'm just a novice though so maybe someone a little more experienced can give you better tips -
