spirit of radio is having problems signing up...keeps getting a "server error" message?  confused13.gif

I sent him a PM on this hopefully it be cleared up soon.

Thanks for letting us know. biggrin.gif

Also any comments on the new rules points Draft Date???

Nows the time to get this stuff taking care of so we can enjoy the season.

With the inclusion of defensive players this time around there seems to be a lot of different ways you can score points now and I also like the way the points have been upped for the team defence.

However I was thinking that maybe getting a point for every rushing attempt or reception was a bit too much IMO confused13.gif It's not a big deal really but a running back could have up to 40 attempts in a game and therefore 40 points before you even add up his yardage score and TD score.

Otherwise this season's rules and draft time look fine to me smile.gif

Good point what if its .5 per attempt and catch?

I am just trying to bump up scoring for those between the 20's running backs.

Which seems to be the trend now a days in the NFL.

They rush five or six times in drive get 40yards (getting 2pts) then the team throws in the Goalline RB to get the 6pts.

New system they would get:

7 or 8pts and the TD RB would get 7 (1 for the rushing att. and 6 for the td)

or at .5 per att.

4.5 or 5 and the td rb would get 6.5 ??

Also with all the "west-coast" offense that teams are running the ball is being spread around alot in the passing game.

And if I remember correctly last year WR were a tough find after the top 10 were taken.

Last year there was only for WR with 100 or more catches and 14 with 80 or more so maybe we can drop the rushing att down to.5 and leave the Receiving att 1 ????

Just a thought EVERYONE PLEASE CHIME IN on this!!

Yeah I see your point Batman yes.gif It's not very fair if you have say Warrick Dunn or Tatum Bell for example doing all the work, then Duckett and Dayne pick up all the points.

I'm just not sure about points being rewarded for a rushing attempt or reception, especially if it's for no gain or a loss.

How about giving out more points for actual yardage gained, for example 1 point every 10 yards rushing or receiving instead of every 20 yards?

Oh yeah, sorry to be a pain but I notice the draft time is now 9.45am EDT..that's 4.45am my time, could we make it a little later I'm not good at getting up on Sundays laugh.gif

Come On, I thought you would still be up @ 4:45am???

I am going to wait alittle till the league is full so we don't have the same issue we had last year once you go to change the time/date you can't go back.

(But I am sure we can get it say around noon that should be about 7 your time. Hey wait a minute its 8:00am here when you posted thats 3:00am your time GO TO BED!!!!!)

Let me look into the points system some see what we can tweak.

Hey ,

I just found this while looking for the neg yards question Huck had.

*Please take note of negative scoring categories such as interceptions, fumbles lost or missed field goals (FGM). Please also note that players receive credit for stats in all categories regardless of position, so a wide receiver may be credited with a tackle (from a special teams play or turnover).*
