Goobertastic Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Hello everyone I have been a major Rush fan since age 13 (1992.) They changed my life for the better. I had a rough upbringing & I was barely able to afford their tapes, but it meant so much to me. I know if not for the positivity of Rush's music I would have not beeen able to survive adolescence or early adulthood. I am extra happy that the newest Rush music is rumored to be "spiritual" because even though most past Rush albums are described as "humanistic" I never felt they ran counter to spirituality...??? I guess I'll have to look up those discussions here. I know what it's like to have to defend Rush from Rush haters...I always found it funny because the music is inherently complex, so I always though, Wow, Rush haters are dumb as a rule of thumb..
