Alsgalpal Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 I don't know about you guys, but I am so enjoying the CP'ers being here for a slumber party. The culture of the CP board is so much different than the TRF culture. I am having fun experiencing the differences. I joined CP for a short while, and there are some kewl peeps there. I remember how it was, a totally different feel to it, and now they are here to hang with us for a while. Some of the things I still don't get, but its interesting. Jewel Out of Reach Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 oh settle down, PF! as a relative newbie to CP, thank u, alsgalpal. once upon a time i was on another board and didn't go much further than that, and altho i checked out other rush boards, i rarely became a member or posted elsewhere. there are good sites out there- i just was happy where i was. nowadays, i see the graciousness and gentlemanliness evident out here in rushland...people welcoming each other when their peers' sites are having trouble, webmasters who are having trouble thanking and giving props to a site lending us a room for the night, and it makes me wonder why my old site couldn't allow such a neighborly, altruistic gesture. i'm going to make a point to do more visiting.
