Midway Hawker
I'm a huge Marillion fan, and I own 8 of their DVD's.. But this thing with putting out a new DVD every six months gets a little old. I'm on their mailing list, but I'm not a part of the fan club and I don't own any of the fan club DVDs or Christmas DVDs.. I'm sure the true hard core fans own everything, so I guess I'm not a true hard core fan. But I have to hand it to them. Since they went to their own private label they do a great job at marketing themselves via the web and producing a volume of extra shit for the fans to buy. I guess it keeps bread on their table. Cygnalschick
Today in my Music Fundamentals class, my teacher was playing different cd's for us to figure out the time signatures. Well she played Marillion, Seasons Past....and I'd heard of them on this site. Anyway, she also mentioned Rush as being a "classic rock band that uses lots of different time signatures". How cool!! Midway Hawker
That's cool.. I believe that Marillion CD was probably "Season's End".. made in 1989, their first album with Steve H. on vocals..
