I typed "andrew bird" into the Music of The SPheres forum search and the only hit was the "currently listening to" thread so I'd figure all of you needed a better description.

 

I recieved Andrew Bird's The Mysterious Production of Eggs for my Birthday from my girlfriend. It's pretty much odd. Andrew Bird claims to be a professional whistler, and plays the violin. SO there's a lot of whistling and violinage. His lyrics are also amazing.

 

Over prescribed

under the mister we

had survived to

turn on the history channel

and ask our esteemed panel

why are we alive

and here's how they replied

you're what happens when two substances collide

and by all accounts you really should've died

 

 

mister we, and history rhyme..... I think it's brilliant....

 

It's not rock music though, it's almost folk, country....it's good though
