ahh.. I love La Villa Strangiato just like the majority of the people here.

but I decided to vote for YYZ to give it a friendly nudge up in the polls.  biggrin.gif

I love all of the instrumentals because they are just amazing and they capture every instrument in the band in the right way at the right time.

"La Villa Strangiato" is perhaps one of the greatest prog/hard-rock instrumentals, ever.

YYZ is structured so well (which edges it out over Strangiato for me), but it still maintains that loose, reckless feel that makes it so much more exciting than later instrumentals like Leave That Thing Alone.

I get goosebumps every time I listen to YYZ.

I really did enjoy the versions of La Villa on the Vapor Trails tour where Alex does his improv in the middle.  Both shows I saw, Geddy and Neil were laughing so hard they almost stopped playing.

Can't get better than La Villa Strangiato! That song builds like an atomic bomb. I can't listen to it if I'm operating heavy machinery or driving. It produces too much adrenaline.
