Alex’s Amazing Arpeggios Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 I’ve tried several times to get into VDGG , but I personally that they’ve slightly over-stepped the mark between being heavily influenced by Zep to the point where it’s almostborderline ripping them off. Perhaps I’m being too harsh and should give them another try (?) Dawn Patrol from Night Ranger on the other hand still excites me today whenever I play it , almost as much as when I first heard it for the first time a few years after its initialrelease in the mid 80’s :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This band RULES! I dig Van too but for me it's NIGHT RANGER! They are playing here at the Fairgrounds on Saturday Nite but I can't make it! The last time I saw Night Ranger was fuckking off the charts!! I saw them in San Francisco at The Fillmore. They played "Dawn Patrol" and "Midnight Madness" in it's entirety!! I have a poster too! They were originally just called "Ranger" but another band with the same name threatened to sue them so they added "Night" to the name. I remember buying the "Dawn Patrol" cassette when it came out. I was instantly blown away and in love with the band!! We are lucky we both saw that gig! EPIC!
