This is going to be somewhat vague but I hope someone knows what I’m talking about, there’s like this rolling galloping bassline in Cygnus x1 that I just love it’s like about halfway through? I don’t know what time exactly, I’ve never actually sat and watched a counter or Clock or anything…

anyone? Lol.

I'm gonna go against the grain and vote The Trees. This is by far one of Geddy's best bass albums all around, every track features fluid, dynamic lines with a classic tone and some funkiness thrown in for good measure. I just find his playing on the intro of The Trees to be the most impressive bit on the whole record. It's basically classical, and all the more beautiful for it.
