Iowa keeps the bronzed pig, 27-22 over Minnesota.

A few years back the UConn athletic director tried to create a rivalry with one of the Florida schools in the conference(USF or UCF). He called it the ConnFLict, and had a trophy created. The Florida school was like whatever. Florida won the Inaugural one and left the trophy on the bench on the sideline afterward and it disappeared forever, along with the rivalry.

Its the first road conference win for the Jayhawks since the W administration.

I just assumed you meant the "Woodrow Wilson" administration!

Hell, even Indiana has beaten Oho State since then. (Reagan's second term.)

I'm actually surprised by all the people who think Michigan State should be ranked ahead of Michigan when Michigan has by far the better body of work. Head to head is important, but it doesn't override everything else.

Ohio State confirming what you say, going up 35-0 over Sparty just minutes into Q2 this morning.

Q: What's to keep Ohio State from a repeat performance against Michigan?

A: Not a damn thing.

I'd take Michigan +48.5 for the whole game, let alone a half.

"WE NEED AN 8-TEAM PLAYOFF" often times seems synonymous with "We need to expand so my team can get in, but dont let that other team I don't like in."

Until I'm appointed to the Committee, that's the way it should be...

A problem I have with the whole playoff idea is the lack of schedule parity and common opponents. If college football went to a national 30-team superconference, it might make sense.

I don't want ND in the playoff this year. I just don't think we can handle that Georgia team. But ND is totally a NY6 team this year and I would love for the powers that be to give us a chance for revenge on Michigan for what went down in Ann Arbor two years ago.
