It comes down to the 76-82 period as expected. All of these are great, but I suppose I like Natural Science a bit less than the others. I would've gone with Freewill from that album personally.

I know most pine for the older golden period but I still think Clockwork Angels, at least, held it's head high to be among some of the 76-82 period albums.

I like Subdivisions and Red Barchetta but think Headlong Flight was slightly better than these. Yeah, I know some of you gasp in shock and horror!

But bear in mind neither of these are my favourites from their respective albums...because I know at least Subdivisions is the top dog from Signals for a lot of people. Analog Kid for me with prob Subdivisions in 2nd place.

 

But to be honest, we're getting to the big boys now and one can't really argue too much about the ordering despite the slander against Xanadu by some!!
