I don't have a favorite Bill Murray performance.  The movies I've seen him in that I've liked, were funny, and who haven't seen him in, I recommend are: "Meatballs", "Where the Buffalo Roam", "Caddyshack", "Stripes", "Tootsie", "Ghostbusters", "Ghostbusters II", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Scrooged", "Quick Change", "What About Bob?", "Mad Dog and Glory", "Ed Wood", and "the Monuments Men".  So far, I've said some really good movies Bill Murray has been in, and that's it.

Mad Dog And Glory is underrated.  Love the against type casting of DeNiro as the cop, although he's played some in his career, and Murray as the mobster instead of DeNiro.

"Is that everything? It seemed like he said quite a bit more than that"
I remember seeing it at the cinema and thinking wow, it`s the most beautiful film I`ve ever seen. And not just because of Scarlett`s bottom.

The relative lack of dialogue was powerful.

Hence my other Bill pick - Broken Flowers. Jim Jarmusch is a master of pointing the camera at someone and having the confidence to let it play out, without a load of irritating jibjab.

It seems we've forgotten about this Murray classic scene.  From 1979's Meatballs..."It just doesn't matter"

Worth noting the original Little Shop with Jack  in the Murray role is on the Corman double feature hosted by Joe Bob on Shudder today with Corman as a guest.  Humanoids From The Deep is the other one.
