I PMed Crimson last week about starting the new thread, seeing as his team won the Cup last season, but he hasn't been around. So with the season starting tomorrow, I figured we should get this going.

56 games in a compressed schedule, so the whole season will be contained in the 2021 calendar year, unless COVID decides to further mess with things. Five games kick things off on Wednesday night. Let's go!

I'm a little worried about the Blues this year, and now Bouwmeester has gone -- I totally get why, but it's a loss of veteran leadership.

Still, hope springs eternal and all that!

I am hoping the Blackhawks will not get blown out by Tampa.  I am really looking forward to watching the Avs this year, they are so close to getting back to the finals.  Don't know how many games I can watch since Comcast is still dinking around with blocking Altitude Sports Channel.  Hope NBCSN will show more of them to make up for that.

This Hawk season will probably look like my apartment building last Friday night when it caught fire. I am stuck in a hotel without NBCSN. I will try to find a feed on my phone tonight.

The whole place is going to have to be rebuilt. It will take about a year. A lot sooner than the Blackhawks rebuilding, though.

But tonight Montreal and Toronto tied, right now, very exciting game.

Perhaps this is the year the Leaf's will get the cup?
