Closest battle for me was 90125 vs. A New World Record vs. Red. Plus feeling bad about leaving Queen out despite knowing The Game is pretty inconsistent on side 2. I went with Red, but 90125 and A New World Record are really right below it.

Trying to channel my inner Earl -- must use more exclamation points!!!!!

 

Cream -- cuz everything they did was good

 

Thin Lizzy -- cuz we both dig Lizzy, although picking Fighting over LZ's Presence was hard

 

UFO -- cuz Lights Out is a legit great live album; pretty much perfect straight out rock (although #3 was hard -- lots of good ones to choose from)

I must admit this is an odd group of polls, and I'm a bit surprised with what I've come up with as winners

Ah... this set of polls is more difficult .... it contains a lot of good stuff lol!! ...

 

Scorpions - Lovedrive. This is my favourite Scorpions album so it gets the vote ..... but Cream, ELP, UFO, Budgie & Bad Co. are all albums I love.

 

Led Zeppelin - Presence for me here...... Purple, Lizzy and Mountain are also stand-outs.

 

UFO - Lights Out is Schenker in god-like mode and takes the vote..... Asia, Purple, Motorhead and Rainbow are all albums close to me.

The first poll is a close battle between ELP's Tarkus and Van Halen's Diver Down with Eddie's boys having a slight edge.

 

The second poll sees Zeppelin keeping Ozzy at bay.

 

And the third poll is a three-way tie between King Crimson, UFO and KISS.
