RIP, Phil Niekro. I remember him well from when the Pirates regularly played the Braves. Always a fun pitcher to watch. :rose:

I had the privilege of seeing Phil pitch back in the 70's. The Braves came to Cincinnati, and I had outfield seats in left-center field, just above the home run wall. I had a perfect view of Phil's knuckleball dancing every which way. :haz:

 

Then I got to see George Foster get a hold of one. I swear, it was still going up when it hit the third deck..... :lol:
