Here's an album to start with:

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II

I'm thinking it's gotta be Whole Lotta Love on that album? The riffs are so strong and dark; I'm not describing it well, lol.

Shake A Leg

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Letter to You

I'll try giving an appropriate, and accurate answer to what the heaviest song on "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Letter to You" is. Burnin' Train. You're welcome, Entre.

Led Zeppelin - I

Had to set aside some time to go through that record and remind myself what the heaviest songs are

Disc 1: An Ode To No One (though Bullet With Butterfly Wings runs it close)

Disc 2: X.Y.U. ... nothing else comes close, this is heavy in every way and I remember the first time I heard this I was almost scared senseless...

Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger

Those happen to be my picks on the two discs as well. Billy is possessed on that song. 4:57 is where it really got scary with the scream combined with that guitar effect by Iha. Take 11 on the deluxe reissue is brutal as well.

Face Pollution

Stone Temple Pilots - Core
