Gone but not forgotten: Orion

Even though it's part of Sony, TriStar was awesome back in the 80s and 90s. They were the "hip" Columbia. The guy who ran Orion moved there in the 90s which explains it. Carolco made some good ones with them like a few Ahnuld movies, Basic Instinct and Jacob's Ladder.

I don't need to read the other options. Star Wars is my favorite.

Fitting now that Disney owns all of them after buying Fox.

Disney bought Fox? Wow I must've been living under a rock :dweez:

Explains why both studios movies have appeared on Epix lately and why Showtime has been playing older Fox movies for the first time in 2 decades. Saw Fever Pitch there a couple of months ago. Tubi has added their movies and Disney Plus has played family friendly movies like Home Alone and Princess Bride.

I don't have favourite movie companies I watch films and film stars. Having a favourite movie company is like a porn actor having a favourite wallpaper to look at when he's f***ing porno chicks!

All companies have their share of good and bad films. Fox was a quality studio in the early to mid 90s until Tom Rothman took over and ruined it with mediocrity and interfering with the creative decisions of directors. Ridley Scott's Kingdom Of Heaven comes to mind. Also, that poll isn't a good representation of Sony. Emoji and Ghost Rider but no Ghostbusters, Taxi Driver, Jerry Maguire or Men In Black?

Oddly enough, Tom now runs Sony.

There’s shit listed in every movie group in part 2 except Universal’s.

Also, I don’t count Deadpool as Marvel. It’s Fox covering a Marvel character.

Fox is usually crap with Marvel properties. See also: The X-Men movies. How many of those were good? Definitely less than half.
