Do you like cheesy stuff? Do you like to sing in the shower*?

Enjoy the Best of Jim Steinman on Amazon Music. Sing along, stretch those pipes. Do anything for love.

*I was not wet and nude while crafting this post but I will be soon.

You only need two albums for this:

Bat Out Of Hell

Bat Out Of Hell 2

I would throw Total Eclipse Of The Heart in here too if Meat Loaf sang it like he rightfully should have.

I would narrow it down to one album ...... Bat Out Of Hell. All others are just retreads.

Does Paradise By The Dashboard Light count? I love that one.

Awesome, awesome song.

"....and now I'm praying for the end of time, to hurry up and arrive. Cuz if I gotta spend another minute with you, I don't think that I can really survive........."

I love Steinman. one of my fav songwriters actually.

the first two Bat albums

his work with Bonnie Tyler.

he can't sing but his solo album Bad For Good is chessey fun.

the follow up too Bat.......Dead Ringer is great too.

AND if you can find it. his one off girl group Pandora's Box put out the Album Original Sin and it's a big fav of mine.

Nah, Bat 2 is different enough from the first one that I wouldn't consider it a retread. It's undeniably Jim Steinman and there are similarities in the songwriting but Bat 2 stands on its own very well.

lol. of course i'd have preferred if Meat had recorded Total Eclipse but hey at least it's out there.

but i will say that meat and Jim split should have not happened. Meat is the only perfect fit for Jim's songs IMO. in his prime especially.
