When I first heard that song I was 11- and it was the single coolest thing I had ever heard in my life.It's unfair to ol' Tom, but too much probably has muted it. There was a pro wrestler back then, Kerry Von Erich, who used Tom Sawyer as his theme music when he came to the ring. When the W.W.E. was called the W.W.F., I know at the time, the wrestler Kerry Gene Adkisson, who had the ring name "the Texas Tornado", too.
