I’d put it between a 3 and 4...but since I don’t think it’s quite a 4 I had to give it a flat 3. It’s not the worst Rush song around but it’s certainly in the bottom depths.

Same. It's better than a lot of the post-GUP album closers but not by much. It's yet another in a line of non-aggressively upbeat happy pop-rocker closing tracks that would have wound up on the scrap heap if they were still limited to 40-something minutes on vinyl.

 

The eight-album stretch of albums closers between Between the Wheels and The Garden is pretty abysmal.

For me, this is Rush's weakest closer, but I don't hate it. This is one of the songs that brings down my Snakes rating by just a little bit though.

I like Alex's guitar too. One part always reminded me of an old Byrds' song.
