IbanezJem
It`s possible not many know who she was, but I knew her from playing Miss Sherlock. HBO Asia had Holmes and Watson both played by women, a natural extension of what Elementary (which I loved) did. It was set in Tokyo and it was smart, very funny and worked well in Japan. Yuko was 40 and appears to have committed suicide. http://cnalifestyle.channelnewsasia.com/trending/japanese-miss-sherlock-yuko-takeuchi-dies-apparent-suicide-13153242

Derek19
I'm sorry, to hear, see, and read this. She should be missed. My condolences, to her family, and friends. R.I.P., Yuko.
JohnnyBlaze
She had two young kids, one of whom was born just last January. Sad. More suicides than usual here in Japan over the last 3-4 months - a country which already has some of the highest suicide rates on the planet. The approach to managing COVID is a bit myopic in that respect.
