The solo on "Kid Gloves" is lovely! Dude I was having a conversation with "Grace Under Pressure" as a whole with Treeduck. He ranks the record 15th. It's absurd!!!! LOL! "GUP" is my number 2 most favorite incredible album in the Rush Canon!! Many Rush Fans can't stand "Red Lenses." There are some interesting solos, but the lead tone is kind of cheesyRoll The Bones - I want to say Bravado, but the studio version doesn't have the extended solo that he does live. I don't listen to this record enough to pick one.Counterparts - Cut To The ChaseTest For Echo - Time and Motion, because it's so nastyVapor Trails - not too many actual solos on this, but I guess I'd go with Earthshine as wellSnakes & Arrows - The Way the Wind Blows?Clockwork Angels - The Garden's solo is a bit like Limelight; Headlong Flight's solo is a bit like Anthem's. I've always admired how carefully Alex stole from David Gilmour in the presolo, that cascading bit that leads into the spacey bridge. It's verrrrrry similar to a cascading bit that David Gilmour used in Dogs. Here's the song. Listen from 13:55 onwards and see how similar it is to the entrance/bridge in YYZ.
